Fees
Our consulting fees include:

Planning and preparation for individualised sessions

Individualised home practice

Liaising with other members of the child's care team

Comprehensive feedback

Other administrative tasks (e.g., phone discussions etc.)
Referrals
You do not need a referral to see us. To make an appointment, please contact our friendly team on 0411 213 669 or at hello@hideandspeech.com.au. Financial assistance may be available when seeking intervention. If you have a referral from your general practitioner or paediatrician, you may be eligible for a rebate under the government rebate system.
Medicare
Chronic Disease Management Plan
If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on a portion of the fee for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. Please contact your GP to discuss this.
Mental Health Care Plan
A mental health care plan (MHCP) is a document that your GP writes with you about treating a mental health condition. It identifies what type of health care you will require and details what you and your doctor have agreed you are aiming to achieve. Eligible people may claim a portion of the fee for up to 20 sessions each calendar year with Medicare-registered health professionals. Please contact your GP to discuss this.
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate through your private health insurance. The level of your cover depends on the extras you select. Please contact your private health insurance provider for more details.
NDIS
The National disability Insurance Scheme may be available for those with developmental delays, disabilities or a formal diagnosis. Children under 7 may be eligible for funding under the NDIS Early Childhood Intervention (ECEI) scheme.
Hide and Speech Allied Health is able to provide services to self-managed or plan-managed NDIS clients.
